2人以上のグループでブログを運営した経験のある方にはわかってもらえると思いますが、そういう場合にメンバー間のコミュニケーションに使える本当にシンプルな方法が見つからなくて困ったりします。そんなとき、役に立つのがこの Acts as Group というプラグインです。
Acts as Group を使うと WordPress のブログ上にユーザーグループを作ることができます。このユーザーグループというのは、任意のグループで、例えば「野球が好きな人のグループ」なんてグループも、もし作りたければ作れます。それから、そのグループのメンバー間でコミュニケーションを行うために、Twitter っぽいメッセージ交換の画面を、WordPress の管理画面上に提供します。つまりグループの数だけ秘密の twitter が持てるということです。

If you manage a multi-user blog on WordPress, you might feel that you need a simple way for inter-user communication. I created the Acts as Group plugin for this very reason.
Acts as Group allows you to create user-groups for any purpose. For example, you can create a “Baseball Fan Group” for users who like baseball. In addition, the plugin provides a Twitter-like messaging interface for groups on the WordPress Administration Panel. Only group members can see the messages. The plugin provides your own “private twitter” for every group you join.

Contact Form 7 2.0 is slated to be released at the end of this month. There are so many changes and enhancements from Version 1.x that I’m very impatient to show it to you.
But, as you may know, many changes mean a great deal of testing. If you have time — and the curiosity (and are somewhat brave) — please join in on the testing of Contact Form 7 2.0 Beta.
I have just released Contact Form 7 1.10.1, it has a few bug fixes, new features and translation updates. They are not critical or security-related bugs, so you don’t need to upgrade urgently.
Contact Form 7 1.10 is now available. New features in this version include additional mail headers, response message placeholder tags [response], the calling of user-specified JavaScript code when a message is sent successfully, controlling JavaScript loading with new constant, and much more. Therefore, I would highly recommend that you upgrade today!
