Christoph, I’m running WP 2.9 with Contact Form 7 and Really Simple Captcha and it’s working fine… just a FYI…

Plugin don’t work for me on WordPress 2.9!

Ok I’ve solved it, strange phenomenon though.

I modified these rules (in really-simple-captcha.php)

$this->bg = array( 255, 255, 255 );
$this->fg = array( 0, 0, 0 );

(which shows as a black png)

$this->bg = array( 255, 255, 255 );
$this->fg = array( 255, 0, 0 );

Now I can see the characters again: red text on a black background eventough the bg-var says white…

Odd.

All libraries enabled (GD, Freetype), all proper rights are applied (php and png files are being created in the right folder), upload path correct. Yet the image remains blank.

Just used it with my Contact Form 7… brilliant.
Not too difficult and looks stylish.

One point, I notice that the letters are not case sensitive, it might be useful to have a small note next to the CAPTCHA, saying “not case sensitive”.
Just a thought.
